The rapid shift to electrified mobility is accompanied by greater awareness of the need for more sustainable mobility. Dynamic and semi-dynamic weather seals are large, heavy applications; improving the sustainability of these parts has a positive effect on the carbon footprint of the entire vehicle. During this webinar, we will discuss the reasons - related to performance, economics, and sustainability- many OEMs are shifting from thermoset EPDM to thermoplastic vulcanizates such as Santoprene® TPV for these applications. The switch to Santoprene® TPV enables a carmaker to reduce the carbon footprint of its fleet with no compromise on performance. Also in this webinar, we will present a new TPV solution that offers even greater sustainability benefits for these applications.
