Join us for our upcoming webinar. We will delve into the evolving landscape of vehicle design and highlight that the typical vehicle now has an estimated lifespan of around 11 years.

A remarkable shift is that these vehicles increasingly incorporate a substantial amount of plastics, a trend propelled by the pursuit of meeting Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards and the unparalleled design flexibility plastics offer. With an annual figure of about 12-15 million vehicles reaching the end of their life and being scrapped in the US alone, the imperative of pioneering new methodologies for reclaiming and recycling plastic components has never been more critical. In this context, we are excited to share how Celanese is at the forefront of developing advanced thermoplastics to support our customers in achieving their End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling targets. Our commitment is towards a more sustainable future by innovating in the spaces where it matters most.

In this webinar, we will introduce these new materials and discuss potential CO2 reductions when shifting to these materials. Applications discussed in the webinar will include interior and exterior parts, EV battery components, and chassis parts. Join us to learn more about our endeavors and how we are contributing to the evolution of vehicle sustainability.
