Enhanced Acrylic Dispersion for Long-lasting Paints with Mowilith® LDM 7510

We’re continuing our record of supplying our customers with high quality dispersions. Our new acrylic dispersion Mowilith® LDM 7510 is equipped with newly developed, enhanced mechanical properties with Gradual Composition (GC) technology. Discover how Mowilith LDM 7510 is helping our customers create cutting-edge high gloss and lacquer paints. Review this presentation for the technology and market analysis we used to develop this product:

  • Market Needs and Development:
Our research identified a market need for a pure acrylic dispersion, with state-of-the-art technology to optimize the balance between blocking resistance and elongation at break.
  • New Gradual Composition (GC)—Technology from Celanese:
Mowilith LDM 7510’s Gradual Composition (GC) technology allows for a gradual change from hard to soft polymer fractions, as opposed to the defined phases of hard and soft parts and abrupt phase boundaries from core-shell particles.
  • Research and Application Test Results:
Our research and testing showed that Mowilith LDM 7510 meets identified market needs and provides good outdoor durability, excellent elasticity and high block resistance.
  • Summary & Possible Applications:
Possible applications of Mowilith LDM 7510 include high gloss and trim paints, and weather protection wood stains. We concluded that the product demonstrates a successful implementation of new Gradual Composition (GC) technology.
