Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) aims to quantify the environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product's life, from raw material extraction through materials processing, manufacture, distribution, use, and final disposal, analyzing inputs - such as energy use, and outputs - for example air emissions, of the entire process.

Nina Nordlander

Global Sustainability Portfolio Leader, Engineered Materials

Nina holds a diploma in business administration. She has been working for Celanese Engineered Materials for more than 20 years in various roles in Supply Chain, Product- and Project Management.

In early 2021 she joined the newly established sustainability team as Global Sustainability Portfolio Leader


 

Klaus Kurz

Sr. Principal Chemist Product

Klaus holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Kaiserslautern, TU Clausthal-Zellerfeld. He has been working with Celanese since 1989 covering several positions in the Technology area - Product & Process development.

He is a member of the FORMACARE ExComm (Formaldehyde sector group of CEFIC)
