Dr. Dirk Ronald Zierer

Ph. D (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Max-Planck-Institute of Polymer Research in Mainz in 1992. Started to work for Hoechst AG in Frankfurt the same year. Had various R&D / T&I positions in different departments and product lines at multiple sites, incl. 2 years as Expat in the US; Today, Sr. Principal Product Specialist Polyester at Celanese, reporting to the Global Technology Manager for Polyester & Nylon.

 

Christopher Davie

Currently responsible for the global polyester business line at Celanese comprising the Rynite®, Crastin® and Celanex® family of compounds. Since joining Celanese in 2011, Christopher has worked across various businesses and functions including Business Manager for EMEA Polyesters Business, Global Procurement for Nylon Polymers and Business Manager for W. Hemisphere for GUR® Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene. Before Celanese, Christopher was an Associate Principal at McKinsey and Company in the Marketing and Sales Practice and has an MBA from the London Business School.
