John Darlington

Marketing Director

John Darlington is a Marketing Director, responsible for the Hydrogen Technology and Clean Energy markets. He joined Celanese 2020 to support our strategic program management organization, and has led our Industrial Marketing team investigating diverse applications from Oil and Gas to Warehouse Automation and Robotics . Before joining Celanese he held senior positions in sales and marketing at global polymer manufacturers including Toray Advanced Composites, Gurit AG and SABIC. John Darlington holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, from Durham University, UK. He has been active in Thermoplastic and Thermoset (polymers and composites) development for more than 20 years.

 

Dr. Wolfgang Diegritz

Senior Field Development Engineer

Dr. Wolfgang Diegritz is Senior Field Development Engineer, responsible for the European E&E industry and Clean Energy markets. He joined Celanese 2017 through the acquisition of Nilit Plastics, a well-known specialist for flame retarded Polyamide compounds. Before he held various positions in strategic marketing, business development and sales at global market players as DuPont, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and BASF. Wolfgang Diegritz holds a PhD in polymer physics, from University of Ulm, Germany. He is active in the plastics and elastomer industry since more than 25 years.
